Former Wisconsin guard D’Mitrik Trice finished NBA Summer League action with a bang, posting a game-high 24 points during the Milwaukee Bucks 94-87 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

A third-team All-B1G performer during both his junior and senior seasons in Madison, Trice was 10-of-16 from the field, including 3-of-6 from 3-point range. While the Bucks wound up on the losing end, they were +5 while Trice was on the floor.

After he was passed over during the 2021 NBA Draft, Trice earned a spot on the summer league roster by way of a try-out. He played in four of the five summer league games for the Bucks, and averaged 8.0 points-per-game while shooting a combined 59% from the field during the sessions in Las Vegas.

Now, Trice will have to wait and see if his hard work and Summer League performance is enough to land a contract.

Trice led the Badgers in scoring during the 2020-21 season with 13.9 points-per-game, shooting 41.2% from the floor.
