Jim Harbaugh is in his seventh season with the Michigan Wolverines, and they are not ranked in the preseason AP Top 25 poll.
One bettor is extremely confident in the Wolverines’ chances to be successful this year; he bet $2,500 on Michigan to make the College Football Playoff, according to Frank Schwab of Yahoosports.com.
“That bet would win $50,000,” said Schwab. “Michigan’s odds to make the CFP are +2000.”

In six seasons, Harbaugh’s record with the Michigan Wolverines is 49-22; he has yet to win the B1G East division, let alone win the B1G. Harbaugh has only been to two New Year’s Six bowls and lost both games.
Last year the Wolverines were 2-4 on the season, with the last three games canceled due to COVID-19.
The Wolverines have games against Washington, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Indiana, Penn State, and Ohio State this season.
Michigan opens the season against Western Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 4.
