Maryland head coach Mike Locksley had quite the day on Tuesday, and the biggest part wasn’t about fall camp.
Locksley took 2 pies to the face during a team event as seen here.

After that tweet went out, Locksley quote tweeted it with a clever joke about a carnival night in relation to the 2 pies to the face.
When carnival night goes south .. 🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/YRaY3WW52G

The Terps have had a surplus of big things happen within their program recently and this event may be the award for it.
A couple of days ago, they added 4-star receiver Shaleak Knotts to their 2022 recruiting class as he chose the Terps over Georgia, Virginia Tech, Texas, etc. Quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa also announced a few days ago to a teammate that he has a scholarship after coming to the program as a walk-on.
If the Terps are better than they were last season, there’s no doubt another pie to the face will happen again for Locksley. They finished just 2-3 last year but will look to rebound in 2021 and that starts with an opening-week matchup against West Virginia on Sept. 4.
