An Ohio State tight end target has made his decision. 4-star Swedish prospect Theo Melin Ohrstrom committed to Texas A&M instead of Ohio State, according to On3.

The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Ohrstrom is regarded by 247Sports as the No. 1 prospect from Sweden and the No. 14 overall tight end in his class. Ohrstrom’s final 3 schools consisted of Texas A&M, Ohio State, and LSU.

Ohrstrom began his football career just four years ago, according to Cleveland.com. Despite not choosing the Buckeyes, at the time of his visit to Ohio State, Ohrstrom came away impressed.

“I would say just the winning culture they have, and the facilities were some of the best I have ever seen,” Ohrstrom said to Cleveland.com. “Obviously the coaching staff and the whole team was really impressive, but just the culture that they had, like their fight motto. I really liked Columbus too, as a city, it was really cool.”

Ohio State begins the season with a primetime matchup on Sept. 2 at Minnesota (8 p.m. EST/FOX).
