The Big Ten Network has been going around to all the different campuses to get a glimpse of how each program looks and Wednesday’s stop was at College Park.

Josh Perry of BTN dropped his 3 takeaways after taking in one of the practice’s and the first one starts with Maryland’s offensive skill.

“I love where they’re at. They have a returning quarterback who’s a problem for some B1G schools. The wide receiver talent is really good. They love their running back room. I think their offense is going to be pretty explosive.”

Perry was also impressed with how they’ve been recruiting lately.

“When you look at recruiting and the young players they have on the roster, I think they’re in a great spot. They got some bodies that really stood out to me. I think development is going to be key, but just in terms of what they look like as young players and what I think they’ll be, I think they’ll be really good.”

He then ended the video by talking about their ceiling for this season:

“I think this team can be whatever they want to be in the East and it’s really unique. I think they’ve got a decently high ceiling just based off some of the skills they have on offense. When I look defensively, they’ve got some extremely skilled players. Now, what’s going to make the difference for them is if they can limit mistakes in games, and that’s turnovers, penalties, and all those kinds of things.”

Perry’s next stop will be Ohio State to see the Buckeyes but you can see his full video here:
