Joshua Perry of the Big Ten Network has been all over the different B1G schools for the last couple of weeks and if you thought that was changing for Thursday, well think again.
Perry visited his alma mater of Ohio State for the day to check out their fall camp and as always, provided 3 takeaways after taking in their practice.
One of the takeaways was about the running back room and Perry seems quite high on it going into the season:
“The running back room is as advertised. You got Master Teague, the veteran player coming back. I think he’s really good. You’ve also got Miyan Williams who came on towards the end of the year last year but TreyVeyon Henderson, who’s the young running back, has a lot of talent. I’d expect him to play some minutes this season.”
Perry also really likes how the secondary has improved this offseason after they looked a bit off at times in 2020:
“The secondary I think has improved. I mean, they just look better, a little more comfortable out there during practice and there’s no shortage of talent in the backend of this defense. It’ll be really good to see what their progression looks like this year.”
