Ohio State’s star-studded freshman class of 2021 continues to make progress.
Two more members lost their black stripes during fall camp on Friday, meaning they have “officially” become members of the Buckeyes.
It was 5-star offensive tackle Donovan Jackson and 4-star cornerback Jordan Hancock who achieved that benchmark on Friday.

“I’d like to thank coach Mick, coach Stud and the O-Line unit,” Jackson said. “Like to thank the rushmen for getting me better every day. Go Bucks!”
Jackson was the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the country for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He was also the No. 19 overall player in this class.
Hancock was the No. 5 overall cornerback and the No. 73 overall player in the cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Both players enrolled at Ohio State in July.
Ohio State opens up its 2021 season on Sept. 2 against Minnesota.
