Former Ohio State star Jonathon Cooper put on quite a performance in the second preseason game of his career.

Saturday night, Cooper played a big role in Denver’s 30-3 victory over Seattle. The seventh-round selection finished the night with 3 tackles, tying for the third-highest total on the team. Cooper was also responsible for 2 of Denver’s 3 sacks, including this impressive strip-sack:

Cooper also added a tackle for loss, a pass break-up and 2 quarterback hurries to his statistics on Saturday night. Not bad for the former Buckeye.

In his first two preseason games, Cooper has been consistent. In the first contest against Minnesota, the former Ohio State star racked up 3 tackles, including a stop for loss. The Broncos defeated the Vikings 33-6.

Cooper certainly has made the most of his opportunities early in the preseason. He’ll get another chance to shine in a preseason game next Saturday, when the Broncos take on the Los Angeles Rams to conclude the preseason.
