Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck has a very tough challenge for Week 1 of the college football season: Stop Ohio State.

That starts with limiting what the Buckeyes can do through the air, as their receiver tandem of Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson is arguably the best in the country.

Fleck took it a step further at his weekly press conference on Monday, saying Ohio State’s WR room is one of the best he’s ever seen.

“They’re a really good football team,” Fleck told reporters on Monday. “Really well-coached. They’ve got explosive playmakers everywhere … This wide receiver core they have might be the best wide receiver corps I’ve ever seen in one football team.”

In addition to Olave and Wilson, who were both named to the AP’s All-America team on Monday, the Buckeyes have high-level reinforcements as well.

5-star freshmen Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka are both expected to be on the two-deep. There’s also Jaxon Smith Njigba, who caught 10 passes a year ago as a freshman.

Throwing them the ball will be first-year starter C.J. Stroud, who was confirmed as the Buckeyes’ QB1 over the weekend.

Minnesota hosts Ohio State on Sept. 2.
