We are just days away from the first kickoff of the 2021 college football season, and that means it’s time for Kirk Herbstreit to hand out his annual Herbie Awards for the preseason.
Thursday evening, the popular co-host of College GameDay and analyst for ESPN began unveiling his list of Herbie winners. Among that list was the title of Best Stadium Atmosphere up for grabs.
In the end, Herbie had to go with the White Out Game in Happy Valley:

Over the years, the White Out contest has produced some classic games inside Beaver Stadium. It is also hard to believe that the most recent White Out with fans in attendance came all the way back on Oct. 19, 2019. That game was a win over Michigan.
This year, the White Out game returns with an SEC foe coming to town for the occasion. That will be on Sept. 18 when the Nittany Lions take on Auburn.
