Iowa will look to continue the momentum built from its impressive 2020 season, beginning with the opener vs. visiting Indiana on Sept. 4 (3:30 p.m. EST/Big Ten Network).

In advance of the matchup, Iowa recently released its depth chart Friday, and it features some changes.

Jack Campbell is now listed at middle linebacker and Seth Benson is at weakside linebacker. Jack Plumb is the starting left tackle, with Mason Richman as the backup. Also, Justin Britt takes over at right guard.

Spencer Petras will enter his second season as Iowa’s starting quarterback. Petras threw for 1,569 yards with 9 TDs and 5 INTs last season.

After an 0-2 start, Iowa went on an impressive run to finish with six straight victories in 2020. Going into the 2021 season, Iowa is being tabbed by the Sporting News as the second-best team in the B1G West behind Wisconsin.

Since Kirk Ferentz has been coach dating back to 1999, Iowa has posted 17 winning seasons.
