Wisconsin-Penn State is shaping up to be one of the more appetizing games for Week 1 in the B1G. Both teams are looking to be a lot better in 2021 than they were in 2020, especially Penn State. They finished just 4-5 last season, though they did win 4 straight games after starting out 0-5.
As for the Badgers, they only got to play in 7 games last season and finished 4-3 (3-3 in conference play). They’ll be hoping that Graham Mertz continues to progress after he finished with 1,238 yards passing and 9 touchdowns last season.
They’re also picked by a large majority of media members to win the B1G West and play in the conference title game.
Kickoff will be at Noon ET on Sept. 4 and it’ll be televised by FOX.
