Ahead of Week 1, B1G Network analyst Joshua Perry dropped his first power rankings of the season Wednesday afternoon.
Only two B1G teams — Illinois and Nebraska — have played so far, but Week 1 features some big games in the conference. There aren’t too many surprises in Perry’s rankings, though.
Here’s how he ranked the 14 teams:
1. Ohio State
2. Wisconsin
3. Indiana
4. Iowa
5. Penn State
6. Minnesota
7. Northwestern
8. Michigan
9. Rutgers
10. Illinois
11. Maryland
12. Michigan State
13. Purdue
14. Nebraska

There are four B1G matchups this weekend: Ohio State vs. Minnesota on Thursday, Michigan State vs. Northwestern on Friday, Penn State vs. Wisconsin on Saturday and Indiana vs. Iowa on Saturday.
The Buckeyes and Gophers will kick the weekend off on Thursday night as Minnesota looks for its first win over Ohio State since 2000.
It’s safe to say these rankings will change by Monday.
