Ohio State does not have to worry about one of their 2022 CB recruits after being rumored that he may de-commit from the program.

Jyaire Brown has cut off contact with all other schools and is planning on playing with the Buckeyes. He talked to Lettermenrow.com about why he has shut down recruitment from other schools, according to on3.com, a recruiting website.

Brown is a 6-foot, 178-pound, 4-star CB recruit out of West Chester, Ohio, and plays for Lakota West High School. According to 247Sports.

Brown had offers from B1G schools such as Michigan State, Penn State, and FBS independent Notre Dame.

Last month, the Buckeyes lost a 2022 CB recruit in Jaheim Singletary; he is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound CB out of Jacksonville, FL. He is a 5-star recruit and has B1G offers from Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, and many more Power 5 offers.

The Buckeyes 2022 recruiting class is nationally ranked 4th in the country and 2nd in the B1G behind Penn State. According to 247Sports.com

The Buckeyes last season won the B1G with a 6-0 record and won a playoff game defeating Clemson in the  Allstate Sugar Bowl before being defeated by Alabama in the National Championship Game to finish the year 7-1.

The Buckeyes are on the road tonight facing the Minnesota Golden Gophers in both teams’ 2021 B1G season opener.
