Michigan State’s offensive line agrees to NIL deal with local business

Offensive linemen often go under the radar despite having to do the dirty work vital for the success of the team. So it’s encouraging that the Michigan State offensive line is cashing in on a local opportunity.
The Michigan State offensive line has agreed to an NIL deal with Jolly Pumpkin, an East Lansing cafe and brewery. This is a great business opportunity for some of the less heralded Spartan players.
Position groups signing NIL deals with local businesses has been just one aspect of the new rules in the NCAA.
Michigan State kicks off the 2021 season with a primetime matchup at defending B1G West champion Northwestern on Sept. 3 (9 p.m. EST/ESPN). Michigan State unveiled its brand new uniform combo heading into Week 1.
Michigan State posted a 2-5 record during Mel Tucker’s first season at the helm. Michigan State leads the all-time series 39-20 vs. Northwestern and has won the last two matchups.
ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) is predicting a convincing victory for Northwestern vs. Michigan State, giving the Wildcats a 59.6 percent chance.
