Kenneth Walker III is having quite the night in his Michigan State debut.
The former Wake Forest running back has scored 3 touchdowns in his first game wearing the green and white. He was able to punch two across the goal line in the opening half, including a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the game.
Walker’s latest touchdown came in the third quarter. The running back used his speed to get to the outside and extended the football across the goal line for a 5-yard touchdown rush. The score gave the Spartans a 28-7 advantage.
After the carry, Walker had accumulated 157 yards on 15 carries:
Easy as 1,2,3.

It hasn’t taken long for Walker to make his presence felt in Michigan State’s offense. He was a huge pick-up during the offseason and his addition looks like a brilliant move from Mel Tucker.
Last season, Michigan State’s entire team rushed for just 2 touchdowns in just 7 games. No running backs reached the end zone.
