Penn State and Wisconsin delivered a great game in the most B1G way possible to open the season.

The score at the half was a whopping 0-0. No.19 Penn State beat No.12 Wisconsin 16-10 on the road to start the season 1-0.

This interception from senior Safety Ji’Ayir Brown sealed the game with a pick inside the Wisconsin red zone.

Brown last season with the Nittany Lions had 6 tackles and 1 tackle for loss as Brown played sparingly for the Nittany Lions last season.

Wisconsin QB Mertz threw two interceptions in the final 3 minutes of the game to seal the Badgers’ fate. Mertz was 22-37 for a completion rate of 59.4% and 138 yards passing. Wisconsin ran 95 plays and came away with only 10 points.

Penn State plays Ball State next week in their home opener as they welcomes fans back to Happy Valley.
