Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm met with the media on Monday, coming off the Boilermakers season-opening 23-14 win over Oregon State.
While not a perfect showing, it was good enough to get past the Beavers and was a needed win to open a season for a program looking to move forward after a difficult two seasons.
While the win was a solid one for the Boilermakers, Brohm indicated that they need to get better, and not be overconfident heading into this weekend’s game with an overmatched Connecticut team, with the Boilermakers going in as heavy favorites.
Brohm also provided an injury update and gave some general comments on the team.
Here is more of what the Purdue coach had to say.

Brohm: Played pretty clean, penalty-wise, vs. Oregon State. Had delay of game on FG team. Holder took too long. On same play, an assistant was on the field, getting unsportsmanlike penalty.
