The B1G men’s basketball schedules are out. What are the big games we should look forward to the most?

B1G Network analyst Andy Katz picked his top five marquee matchups after the schedules were released Wednesday afternoon.

Katz’s No. 5 matchup is Ohio State vs. Indiana on Jan. 6, which features two potential B1G Player of the Year candidates in Buckeyes guard EJ Liddell and Hoosiers forward Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Also on the list is the Jan. 29 Michigan vs. Michigan State game, Feb. 27’s Illinois vs. Michigan game and Jan. 20’s Purdue vs. Indiana matchup.

Katz’s top game on the B1G schedule is between Michigan and Purdue — Katz’s top two teams in the league — on Feb. 5. That game will be at Purdue, which should make for an amazing atmosphere with fans back in the stands.

College hoops season starts in 62 days (not that we’re counting.)
