Riley Moss had a pretty good day at the office last week.

He intercepted Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. twice, running both picks back for touchdowns in Iowa’s 34-6 win over the Hoosiers in Week 1. It was a great performance, and he talked about it with ESPN’s Holly Rowe on her Twitter account.

“Our defense was doing what they were supposed to do and I ended up getting the picks,” Moss told Rowe. “It was a team effort. It was crazy, but I would say it’s because of practice and … knowing my responsibilities and just doing my job at the end of the day.”

Moss was selected as the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts vs. the Hoosiers.

No. 10 Iowa has a big one coming up this week as it heads to No. 9 Iowa State for the “CyHawk” game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
