T.J. Watt signs megadeal with Pittsburgh Steelers, becomes highest-paid defensive player in NFL

Wisconsin product T.J. Watt is about to majorly cash in. The Pittsburgh Steelers pass-rusher is signing a four-year extension of over $112 million, with $80 million guaranteed at the onset of the deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The deal will make Watt the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL.

Watt spent two seasons at Wisconsin, totaling 11.5 sacks, an interception, touchdown, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. In 2016, Watt earned Second-team All American and First-team All-B1G honors.
