Penn State is paying homage to the U.S. military beginning with its Sept. 11 home game vs. Ball State. Penn State is dedicating a Chair of Honor to all Prisoners of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) U.S. Armed Forces service at Beaver Stadium.

The school announced the dedication on Twitter:

Penn State defeated Wisconsin 16-10 in Week 1 behind its defense and some clutch offensive drives.

This is the first meeting between Penn State and Ball State. Ball State is coming off a 7-1 record in the shortened 2020 season and defeated Western Illinois 31-21 in its season opener.

Saturday’s game is slated for 3:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on FS1.
