Kenneth Walker III garnered national attention after his performance in Michigan State’s season opener last week.
Now, he’s getting high praise from one of the best running backs in college football history.
Reggie Bush, now a FOX analyst, broke down Walker III’s game film on Friday — 6 days after Walker III ran for 264 yards and 4 touchdowns in Michigan State’s 38-21 win over Northwestern. How impressed was Bush with KW3’s breakout game?
“If you continue running the football like this, the Doak Walker, Heisman Trophy, whatever you want, is going to be in your future,” Bush told the Wake Forest transfer.

Walker III is looking to be a key factor in Mel Tucker’s attempts to jumpstart a running game that was virtually nonexistent in 2020. He can try to build off his big debut when Michigan State takes on Youngstown State on Sept. 11.
Kickoff for that game is set for noon ET on the B1G Network.
