Northwestern is looking to bounce back from their season-opening loss to Michigan State, and while the defense seemed to be what everyone was looking at during the week, the Wildcats offense is what is taking it to Indiana State — specifically running back Evan Hull.
Heading into the half, Hull has the Wildcats up 14-0 while rushing for 105 yards on 15 carries, and a touchdown.

Wildcats quarterback Hunter Johnson is responsible for the other Northwestern touchdown, converting on a 25-yard pass to Malik Washington. Johnson is also 5-for-8 passing in the first half with 49 yards.
Don’t overlook the Northwestern defense though, having held the Sycamores to just 90 yards total offense in the first half. Indiana State is 1-0, coming off a win over Eastern Illinois, 26-20 in their opener.
