Ohio State pulls within one score of Oregon after TreVeyon Henderson’s first career rushing TD

The Buckeyes are in a battle with the No.12 Oregon Ducks.

The Buckeyes were trailing 28-14 to the Ducks early in the 4th quarter.

Ohio State marched down the field, and on 1st-and-goal, 5-star freshman TreVeyon Henderson plunges into the end zone to make it a 1-score game.

The Henderson score  made it a 28-21 Ducks. This is Henderson’s first rushing TD as a Buckeye. He had a receiving TD against the Minnesota Golden Gophers last week.

Henderson for the Buckeyes has already made his mark this season. His receiving touchdown last week was a 70-yard TD reception. 

So far today, Henderson has 12 carries for 54 yards on 4.5 yards per carry and 1 touchdown.

Henderson, the 5-foot-11, 195-pound ATH coming out high school, was a 5-star recruit and the No. 1 RB in his class, the No.23 player in the nation and the No.2 player in the state of Virginia, according to 247sports composite rankings.
