Texas is…. not back again; they showed the college football world why it was premature to rank them in AP Top-25.

The 15th ranked Longhorns traveled up to Fayetteville, AR. Saturday night looking for a win over the unranked Razorbacks.

The Razorbacks dominated the Longhorns in a 41-20 victory welcoming Texas to their new conference. This helped the Razorbacks enter this weeks’ AP Top-25 Poll at No. 20. Texas fell out of the rankings.

The Razorbacks’ faithful stormed the field after the final whistle for beating an AP Top-25 opponent.

Arkansas was fined 100,000 dollars by the SEC for storming onto the field after the game.

That is a standing operating procedure for the SEC if any of their 14 schools storm the field after a game.

The Razorbacks this season will still  face 5 AP Top-25 opponents this season , including a stint of 4 in a row.

The Longhorns face only 2 AP Top-25 opponents for the rest of the year.

This week the No.20 Arkansas Razorbacks take on Georgia Southern at 4:00 ET on the SEC Network.

The Longhorns face in-state school Rice at 8:00 ET on the Longhorn Network.
