Ex-Wolverine Giles Jackson fires off NSFW comment at Michigan fan as Washington exits the field

Former Michigan wide receiver Giles Jackson left the Big House in Ann Arbor on Saturday donning his new Washington colors, and had some choice words for the fans who used to cheer him on. But his mood was obviously dampened by the Huskies 31-10 loss to the Wolverines.

fter Jackson’s announcement to depart Ann Arbor for Washington following the 2020 season, the Week 2 matchup with the Huskies quickly brought about a new level of interest.

Jackson was once considered one of the Wolverines most dynamic playmakers, even putting Michigan up 7-0 with the first score of the 2019 matchup with Ohio State. He boasted plenty of highlight reel plays, including an opening 97-yard kickoff return against Maryland that same year, and during the 2020 Citrus Bowl, Jackson led all Michigan receivers with 4 receptions totaling 54 yards.

Even though he was clearly talented, Jackson’s career never really took off at Michigan and rumors quickly started to report that he was unhappy in Ann Arbor, and in March he officially announced he would enter the NCAA Transfer Portal – he eventually landed at Washington.
