Former Wisconsin basketball standout D’Metrick Trice has inked a deal to play professionally in France, with Fos Provence Basket in Marseille.

Trice put on a show during his final performance during the 2021 NBA Summer League, playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. Through four games he had seen sparse playing time, but in his fifth and final game he went off.

Despite the Bucks 94-87 loss to the Denver Nuggets, Trice demonstrated some of the moves and action that made him a star with the Badgers. Over 26 minutes, he led the Buck with 24 points on 10-of-16 from the field hitting threes off the catch as well as pull-up 2’s.

During his time in Madison, Trice averaged 10 points, 3 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game over his five-year career. He posted a 39% shooting average from the floow and 38% from three-point land.
