The talk in Columbus all week has been about the defense on how to improve upon it.

Head coach Ryan Day has not been pleased with DC Kerry Coombs and the defense for the Buckeyes to start the year. The defense has given up 35 and 31 to Oregon and Minnesota this season.

This week, there have been many shakeups on defense. Day is expected to decide who is calling the plays defensively later tonight.

They have also started to talk about players moving positions along the defensive side of the ball.

The defense should look much better the next two weeks as they are playing Tulsa and Akron at home.

Tulsa  is 0-2, to start the season with losses to UC Davis and Oklahoma State. Tulsa only scored 17 points against UC Davis and 23 against Oklahoma State.

The Buckeyes and Golden Hurricane play Saturday at 3:30 ET on FS1.
