Hawkeyes punter Tory Taylor is doing something special with his NIL deal.

All the proceeds from his shirt “Punting is winning” will be donated to the “Count the Kicks” organization. It’s an organization that provides educational resources to healthcare workers and expectant parents.

This is a stand-up act from Taylor and it’ll be interesting to see if more college athletes do similar things with their NIL deals.

Taylor was one of the B1G’s best punters during the 2020 season as he finished 3rd in the conference in punting average with 44.1 yards per punt. That also ranked 20th nationally among all punters.

18 of his 40 punts landed inside the 20-yard-line, and 9 of them landed inside the 10. He was 1 of 8 true freshmen to see action in 2020 and he also landed on the preseason 1st-team All-Big Ten by Athlon Sports.

If he continues to punt like this, it won’t be long before he’s potentially an NFL punter.
