Welcome to the B1G, Josh McCray.
The Illinois freshman running back showed off his incredible combination of power and speed midway through the third quarter on an impressive 38-yard touchdown run. McCray ripped through Maryland’s entire defense, shedding tacklers all the way to the end zone.
McCray’s 38-yard touchdown jaunt was the first of his career with the Fighting Illini. It also was the first trip to the end zone for Illinois on Friday night, tying the game at 10-10.
