Following Maryland’s bowl-clinching, 33-14 win over Rutgers yesterday, backup quarterback Caleb Rowe celebrated by getting down on one knee. He proposed to his girlfriend, former Terps soccer player Sarah Molina, on the field.

It was a very cool moment for Rowe, who will be participating in bowl festivities for the third time since coming to the program in 2012.

Rowe, who has 37 pass attempts this season — his final year of eligibility — enters his last game as a Terp with 2,958 career passing yards and 18 touchdowns.
