Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano impressed by Michigan’s 3-0 start

Rutgers is off to a 3-0 start to the season under head coach Greg Schiano’s second stint with the team.

The Scarlet Knights are coming off a win against FCS Delaware 45-13. They have also beaten Temple and Syracuse to open the season. The real season for the Scarlet Knights begins this week as they go on the road to take on No.19 Michigan in the Big House.

In a press conference after the Delaware win, Schiano talked about  upcoming opponent  Michigan and how good they look this season.

“Michigan’s back to being Michigan,” said Schiano, according to Trevor Woods of the MaizenBrew.com

Rutgers the next 3 weeks will be playing an AP Top-25 opponent starting with No.19 Michigan this Saturday, No.10 Ohio State the following week and finally finishing up with No.20 Michigan State. A brutal stretch for the Scarlet Knights.

Michigan is off to a hot start as they are 3-0 on the season with wins over Western Michigan, Washington and Northern Illinois.

The Wolverines started the season unranked and have climbed to No.19 in the Week 4 edition of the AP Top-25 Poll.

The Wolverines and Scarlet Knights square off at 3:30 ET on ABC.
