Micah Parsons had an up-and-down NFL debut last week, but he took a big step forward in the Cowboys’ win over the Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
Parsons sacked quarterback Justin Herbert in the fourth quarter of Dallas’. It was Parsons’ first career NFL sack.

The Chargers ultimately tied the game with a field goal, but the Cowboys won the game with a field goal of their own as time expired in regulation.
Parsons finished the game with 2 total tackles, including that sack. The rookie earned high praise from teammates after the game.
“The dude is a beast,” running back Ezekiel Elliott told reporters. “He can be elite at linebacker. He can be elite at defensive end. I’m glad we got him on our team.”

The Cowboys are now 1-1 on the season and will face the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 3.
