Nebraska, Rutgers attempting to snap lengthy losing streaks to ranked opponents this weekend

For a couple of years, Nebraska and Rutgers have been two of the cellar dwellers in their respective B1G divisions.
It has been a long time since Rutgers or Nebraska has been an okay team, let alone making a run to the top of the East or West division.
Both teams have a chance this Saturday to snap along awaited streak.
Nebraska’s last win vs. ranked opponent was Sept. 17, 2016 (No. 22 Oregon), 14 straight losses.
Rutgers’ last win vs. a ranked opponent was Nov. 12, 2009 (No. 24 USF), 28 straight losses.
Rutgers vs. No. 19 Michigan & Nebraska vs. No. 20 Michigan State this weekend.

Rutgers plays No. 19 Michigan at the Big House on Saturday and has a chance to beat a ranked opponent for the first time since Nov. 12, 2009. Rutgers defeated No. 24 USF after that game; they have had 28 straight losses against ranked opponents.
Nebraska also has the chance to beat a ranked opponent for the first time in a long time. They go to the state of Michigan as well to take on No. 20 Michigan State. Nebraska’s last win vs. a ranked opponent was September 7, 2016, vs. No.22 Oregon.
Nebraska has lost 14 straight games against ranked opponents since that date.
Rutgers vs. No. 19 Michigan is at 3:30 ET on ABC. Nebraska vs. No.20 Michigan State is at 7:00 ET on FS1.
