Munford, a fifth-year senior, was named First Team All-B1G last season, so his absence isn’t ideal for an Ohio State team that’s dealing with an injured QB, too. Protecting CJ Stroud — and his shoulder — is imperative if the Buckeyes want to stay in the top 10 of the AP poll.

Ohio State is getting set for one last non-conference game this week as it welcomes Akron to Columbus. Kickoff is set for Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET on the B1G Network.
