Ohio State drops hype video for primetime battle with in-state Akron

Ohio State is looking to get right and get healthy as the Buckeyes prepare to take on Akron in Week 4.

Among other storylines heading into the weekend has been the juggling of the quarterback position. Head coach Ryan Day announced during the week that C.J. Stroud will head to the bench due to a nagging injury.

Instead, 5-star true freshman Kyle McCord and redshirt freshman Jack Miller are likely to split the snaps with Stroud available only as an emergency measure. Quinn Ewers will not be available for the game.

Things are not expected to be too tough as the Buckeyes will face off against 1-2 Akron in the Horseshoe. It should provide a great opportunity for Ohio State to find itself a bit after the loss to Oregon and looking a bit rattled early in the win over Tulsa.
