He’s going to want this one back.

A Michigan State fan was given an opportunity to win a free car if he was able to hit a field goal during a break in the action on Saturday night.

His attempt was well short. And wide left.

Here’s the kick:

That’s a tough look for No. 18 in Green.

At least for his sake, Michigan State was able to pull out the overtime victory. The Spartans used a Jayden Reed punt return touchdown to send the game into overtime.

After that, Chester Kimbrough picked off Adrian Martinez on Nebraska’s first series of OT. Kenneth Walker III responded with a long run near the goal line, and kicker Matt Coghlin finished the game off with a chip-shot field goal.

Michigan State is now 4-0 on the season and will host Western Kentucky in Week 5 on Saturday. Maybe the Spartans could give this fan a chance at redemption vs. the Hilltoppers?
