6 B1G stars land on PFF’s Team of the Week for Week 4

Six Big Ten players qualified for Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week following Week 4 action.

Here’s the complete list:

  • RT: Spencer Anderson, Maryland
  • DI: Lukas Van Ness, Iowa
  • Edge: Jacub Panasiuk, Michigan State
  • LB: Jack Campbell, Iowa
  • CB: Tiawan Mullen, Indiana

Illinois running back Josh McCray was also honored as PFF’s True Freshman of the Week. He rushed for 165 yards on 24 carries in the Illini’s 13-9 loss to Purdue on Saturday.

Maryland tackle Spencer Anderson was the lone offensive player to be recognized with a spot on the Team of the Week.

The Terps’ offensive line also earned an accolade as it was named Offensive Line of the Week by PFF. Maryland dominated up front vs. Kent State as Taulia Tagovailoa threw for 384 yards and running back Tayon Fleet-Davis averaged 8.1 yards per carry en route to 2 touchdowns.

Michigan State pass rusher Jacub Panasiuk was named PFF’s Defensive Player of the Week. He produced 14 pressures on 39 pass rushes according to Pro Football Focus as Michigan State defeated Nebraska in overtime.
