REPORTS: Kevin Wilson fired at Indiana

Kevin Wilson did something at Indiana that nobody had done since the Bill Mallory days in the early 90s.
Just five days after the Hoosiers clinched back-to-back bowl berths and claimed the Old Oaken Bucket by beating Purdue for a fourth-straight season, Wilson has apparently been fired by the University, according to reports.
It is unclear as to why Indiana would fire Wilson, but according to Mark Schlabach, the mistreatment of players could be a factor more so than the coach’s win-loss record:

Wilson was 26-47 in six seasons at Indiana and was 12-37 in B1G play. Indiana is coming off tw0-straight 6-6 seasons. Last year, the Hoosiers reached their first bowl game since the 2007 season.
There’s no confirmation whether the reports about player mistreatment are true, but this certainly doesn’t look good for Wilson.
