Indiana is coming off a wild win against Western Kentucky on Saturday which got the Hoosiers to 2-2 on the season.
They staved off a comeback in the final minutes to take down the Hilltoppers and now the rest of B1G play awaits the Hoosiers.
Head coach Tom Allen spoke to the media on Monday and touched on a multitude of topics, including his team’s big matchup against Penn State this Saturday and some unfortunate injury updates.
He also spoke about that latest win against Western Kentucky and how great quarterback Michael Penix Jr. looked. Here are his full quotes:

Allen says D.J. Matthews has torn his ACL and will be out for the season. "I hurt for him. He's had an amazing attitude."

Allen mentions Jacolby Hewitt, Malachi Holt-Bennett and Jordyn Williams as guys who can step up in Matthews loss. "We've still got a lot of talent in that room."

Allen says Jaylin WIlliams is progressing well through concussion protocol. Said initial prognosis was positive as well. Obviously, can't commit to his availability for Saturday at this point, but suggests he's heading in a good direction.
