3 former B1G stars lead ESPN’s initial rookie rankings for 2021 NFL season

B1G rookies have been balling in the NFL through 3 weeks.

In ESPN’s first rookie rankings of the year, the B1G dominated the rankings with the top 3 spots and one more spot in the top 10.

At the top is former Northwestern star Rashawn Slater, who has been a monster for the Chargers so far this season, Then it’s former Penn State standout Micah Parsons, who already has 8 tackles and 1.5 sacks through 3 games. In third, it’s former Northwestern DB Greg Newsome II who has played at least 80 percent of the Browns’ defensive snaps in all three games this season.

Right outside of those three sitting at No.7, another former B1G stud Odafe Oweh DE for the Ravens. He was excellent for Penn State during his collegiate career.
