No. 5 Iowa went to College Park and took Maryland to the woodshed, winning 51-14 on Friday night.
Hawkeye nation showed up in droves to the nation’s capital to watch their team play.

Goodson on Friday night had 19 carries for 66 yards and 2 catches for 85 yards, and a touchdown.
The Hawkeyes have been excellent this season, winning against 2 teams in the AP Top-25 at the time of playing in Indiana and Iowa State.
The Iowa defense has now held an opponent under 24 points or fewer for the 27th straight game.
Next week Iowa has a massive test as No.4 Penn State comes to Iowa City to take on the Hawkeyes at 4:00 ET on FOX.
