Nebraska’s Zavier Betts opens second half with incredible 83-yard score

Well, it looks like Scott Frost’s halftime comments did the trick.
Despite Nebraska scoring 35 points in the first half against Northwestern, Frost was still not pleased with his team’s performance. He pointed out there were still mistakes to fix heading into the break, and it did not take long for the Huskers to respond in the second half.
Coming out of the break, Nebraska forced a quick 3-and-out to get the ball back. The ensuing drive lasted just one play.
That’s because Zavier Betts took a pitch and rolled 83 yards for a massive touchdown. Making the score more impressive, Betts was never touched as the blocking was clear all the way to the outside.
Betts’ big run made it 42-7 in the third quarter, and the rout is in full motion in Lincoln:
