Indiana’s offense didn’t look great against Penn State last week.

The Hoosiers totaled just 264 total yards, 195 of which came from the passing game. They didn’t score a point as Penn State cruised to a 24-0 victory at Beaver Stadium.

Hoosiers coach Tom Allen wasn’t pleased with the effort and made it clear in his weekly press conference Monday afternoon, saying it was “not acceptable.” He also hinted that changes could be coming.

Indiana currently ranks 10th in the B1G in total offense, averaging 23.8 points per game. The Hoosiers will likely also be without quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who suffered an AC separation in his throwing shoulder, Allen announced. That will almost certainly impact Indiana’s production.

With a bye week this week, Indiana has some time to figure things out before facing off with Michigan State Oct. 16.
