Former Ohio State star quarterback Terrelle Pryor is in the news, and unfortunately it’s not for his play on the football field.

It’s been reported that Pryor was arrested last night in Pennsylvania, and charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly hitting a woman following an altercation — his arraignment is Wednesday morning.

This isn’t his first brush with the law.

Back in 2019, Pryor was charged with simple assault after an incident with his girlfriend.

During his time at Ohio State, Pryor set numerous records and set milestones at quarterback over his three seasons in Columbus. In his first three seasons in the NFL, with the Oakland Raiders, he moved to wide receiver and found limited success at the new spot.

He made 77 receptions for 1,007 yard and four touchdowns during the 2016 season with the Cleveland Browns. He would play wide receiver for his final two NFL seasons, splitting time with Washington, Buffalo and the New York Jets.

After a return to the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, he was released after an injury settlement for a hamstring injury.
