Will Smith Jr., the son of former Ohio State defensive end Will Smith, will be in Columbus this weekend, according to a report.

That’s per 247Sports’ Bill Kurelic, who spoke with Smith Jr. earlier this week to confirm the visit.

Smith is currently an unranked prospect in the class of 2023. He attends Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio. He currently holds offers from Marshall and Miami (OH), according to 247Sports.

Smith, of course, is the son of legendary Ohio State defensive end Will Smith. He enjoyed a decorated career at Ohio State that included All-America honors in 2003 and the 2002 BCS National Championship.

He also had a long NFL career, playing for the New Orleans Saints from 2004-13. He was a member of the Saints’ Super Bowl XLIV team and is in the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.

Tragically, Smith was shot and killed in a road rage incident in New Orleans back in 2016.

Ohio State and Maryland kick off at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
