Iowa and Penn State are locked in a battle inside Kinnick Stadium, and Penn State will be up against it in the second half.
Despite leading the game 17-10 at halftime, the Nittany Lions will be without starting quarterback Sean Clifford for the second half. Clifford was taken to the locker room in the second quarter of action.
When the team came out to start the second half, Clifford has been shown on the broadcast without shoulder pads or a helmet, and he will be on the sideline to finish this one.
Penn State won’t have Sean Clifford for the second half. He just came out of the tunnel with no uniform on and a wrapped right arm.

Clifford did have 2 early interceptions, but he settled in nicely. Penn State scored all 17 points with Clifford under center as he went 15-for-25 for 146 yards with a rushing touchdown in the first half.
Ta’Quan Roberson has filled in for Clifford since he left with the injury.
