It was another tough day for Maryland and coach Mike Locksley.
The Terps were blown out for the second week in a row, this time by Ohio State. The Buckeyes defeated Maryland 66-17 and moved to 7-0 all-time vs. the Terps.
Ohio State’s passing game was a big reason why. C.J. Stroud threw for over 400 yards despite not playing the full game. Four different receivers totaled either 100 yards or a touchdown.
After the game, Locksley said he felt like Ohio State’s receivers were “falling out of airplanes, they were so wide open.”
Locksley on Ohio State's receivers: "We had guys looking like they fell out of airplanes, they were so wide open."

Chris Olave led the way, catching 7 passes for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. Garrett Wilson also caught 2 touchdowns, totaling 84 receiving yards. Jaxon Smith-Njigba continued his breakout season with 5 catches for 104 yards. Running back TreVeyon Henderson also caught 4 passes for 67 yards and 1 touchdown.
Maryland is now 4-2 on the year, and still has a chance to have a good season in the Big Ten East. The Terps will be idle next week before facing Minnesota in Week 8 and Indiana in Week 9.
