Joel Klatt says he expects to see Iowa in B1G Championship Game, possibly fighting for CFP berth
Iowa picked up a huge win over Penn State on Saturday night at Kinnick Stadium.
The win not only keeps the Hawkeyes undefeated, but it gives them a commanding lead on the rest of the Big Ten West. Iowa is currently 3-0 in conference play, and no other B1G West team has a record better than 1-1.
That means a 1.5-game cushion for Iowa, who does not have to play a ranked team for the rest of the season.
FOX college football analyst Joel Klatt said late Saturday night that he’s expecting to see the Hawkeyes in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship Game.
“I would expect to see you in Indianapolis for the B1G Championship game, and then who knows,” Klatt said. “Maybe at that point, you’re playing for a playoff berth. That was a hell of a performance by that defense and the offense made enough plays late.”
Klatt also took some time to celebrate with Iowa fans outside Kinnick Stadium. Here’s his full comments:
